Today Firefighter Don Tafjen of Copperopolis Fire Protection District promoted ton Engineer. 
Don has been a member of our community for nine years; he lives here with his wife and two children.  Engineer Tafjen joined our Fire Department in 2004 and has been serving as a Firefighter; he has been an exceptional asset to our community.
Being a ten veteran of the Stockton Fire Department, where he already serves as an Engineer, Don has a lot to offer our town.
We would like to congratulate Don on his promotion, and thank him for taking his time to serve as a Volunteer.
